These are oxidized or "antiqued" giving them an aged or worn look. They are not dirty. This is a purposeful process. Just an fyi in case you do not prefer this look.

Note the shade differences of the locket and chains. Oxidized Rose gold tones vary in shade. Some of the chains match closer than others due to the variances
This rose gold electroplated pendant measures approximately 1" tall & 1" wide x 3/4" thick. (Comparable to about the size of a quarter )
The little glass orb with fitted cork measures about 1\2" round.

Note that your locket latch may arrive loose to allow you to open it and remove the orb. Its important to read the instructions that arrive with your locket. There you will find how to tighten your latch and secure your locket.
*What is "Gold Filled:
Also called rolled-gold. These jewelry items are not actually filled with gold. They are made of a base metal (usually brass or copper) covered by sheets of gold in a mechanical bonding process. Effectively a thick coat of gold: the gold content is 5% or 1/20 of the total weight. Use gold-filled items for your top-of-the-line jewelry. It is hard wearing. With reasonable care it will not peel or flake, and should last as long as solid gold jewelry. It is safe for most people with sensitive skin.
*What is Gold-Plated:
A base metal such as steel or brass is dipped into a bath of electroplating solution, with a lump of solid gold. When an electric current is applied, a thin layer of gold is deposited on the metal.

Use a clear slow drying glue such as epoxy or jewelry specific glue to seal your jewelry. Glue sold in my shop if needed.
